Park City offers some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the country, and is the home to current and former Olympic medal-winners. Whether you are a novice or expert level skier, Park City wants to make your time on the Wasatch Mountain special and accessible.

“Fly and Ski Free, Quick Start Program” means that you ski FREE upon arrival to any of the Park City Ski Resorts. If you arrive in Park City, just 35 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport in Utah on a morning flight from nearly anywhere you can be on the more than 4,000 skiable acres of Park City by the afternoon, and for FREE. The “Fly and Ski Free” Program allows you to exchange your airline boarding pass into to a lift ticket for the same day at any of the three phenomenal ski resorts of Park City: Park City Ski Resort, Deer Valley Ski Resort or The Canyons Resort. This “Quick Start” program has rules and regulations, as well as a required redemption voucher, before beginning please take a few minutes to call or go to the website to review the rules and requirements of the program.

You will be required to present the redemption voucher, your boarding pass for the same date and an out of state photo ID to the ticket window at the resort of your choice to obtain your lift ticket, for that same day. Some restrictions apply including black out dates, which may include the Christmas and Spring Break periods. The offer is good for one pass per person and you must arrive on a regularly scheduled commercial airline flight. Deer Valley is skiing only; Park City Ski Resort and The Canyons Resort also allow snow boarding as well as skiing.

Park City is a pretty ski resort town with roots in the history and drama of the Frontier Boomtown era of the silver mining period of the development of the Old West. In the 1980s the town got an extreme makeover as a ski resort area, and climbed to greater fame as Sundance Film Festival located here for its annual January film festival celebrating the independent film industry. It achieved further recognition when it hosted the Winter Games for the Olympics in 2002. Consistently ranked as one of the prettiest of resort towns in the US, Park City offers skiing, snowboarding and all kinds of winter adventures including tours on skis or dogsled, snowmobiling adventures. Park City offers amazing summer adventures as well, but if you are an avid or even a novice skier, getting a Quick Start and a chance to ski free is a great way for Utah to welcome you to Park City and the Wasatch Mountain.
